Her horn can grow up to 5 inches in length. But she doesn’t use it as a weapon. She has razor-sharp scalpels on either side of her tail for that.
Books like to describe her horn in very funny ways, like “long protrusion,” “horn-like appendage,” and “rostral protruberence.” She gets a bit tired of it.
She serves an heroic underwater function. As an algae-eater, she stops the coral from becoming carpeted in green—this would kill the coral from lack of oxygen and sunlight. So vote for a legendary hero of the oceans!
